The Kindle Fire (AMZN) seems to be faring well with consumers (can't say more due to Amazon's lack of info), but in the enterprise, the iPad (AAPL) continues to dominate. IDC's Tom Mainelli estimates iPad shipments into "commercial markets," which includes education, will hit 38.3M in 2012 and 52.6M in 2013. Security concerns and a shortage of apps appear to be limiting interest in Android tablets. (also)
