Costco lower after reporting July sales tallies

  • Costco's (COST) July comparable-store sales were solid at 4%, but trailed estimates by 80 bps.
  • Retail analysts note the retailer's performance in the U.S. was the worst since June of 2012 after backing out gas sales and F/X.
  • COST -0.9% premarket.

3% excluding gas is a good number, comparing it to Walmart's performance.
A p/e of 26 is too rich though
    Yield is too small
Costco still has lots of room to grow imho. Many people in Japan and even Canada etc. dont shop at Costco frequently, only because there isnt one close to where they live and work

Increase the store count and sales will skyrocket.
