    Market rallies on this crummy news b/c it knows FED QE taper will be "postponed".

    Don't be shocked if they do the opposite of taper and that is not not taper but actually increase QE. They are going to increase QE eventually but not yet. And interest rates will stay at 0 not till 2016 but till the end of time or the end of the dollar, whatever comes first.

    Completely agree. Remember the talking heads in 2009 saying "ZIRP will end in 2010".

     

    The FED has a permanent license to QE now, and they will use it. No politicians even object anymore. The only thing that can derail it now is punishing inflation. That will come, but not right now.

    Disagree. The main problem is uncertainty and sequester not low rates. Low rates help earnings and that helps unemployment. Not news to anyone who understands biz.

     

    Lots of politically driven bad economic advice right now. Bad idea to make financial decisions on political points. Virtually all important data points to a slow recovery that keeps getting hampered by politicians.
