Erickson Air-Crane's Evergreen gets Military Sealift Command contract

  • Erickson Air-Crane's (EAC -1.4%) Evergreen Helicopter unit lands a five-year contract for ship-based and shore-based vertical replenishment with the Military Sealift Command.
  • The year one value of the deal is $6.8M. Four option-year renewals bring the total value of the deal to $36.6M. (PR)
  • EAC's deal for Evergreen was the subject of a piece by SA contributor Richard Pearson which caused the stock to fall double-digits back in June.

    I bought EAC at 24 and sold at 23, I am glad i did. What a shipwreck that stock has been. The CEO was on Cramer during their run up and both he and Cramer made it sound like this stock was going to 40 in no time. Boy were they wrong. I was sucked in. I read an SA article a few days later where they put this stock in the $14 dollar range and boy were they right.
