Royal Caribbean cancels Alaska cruises


Royal Caribbean (RCL) cancels the rest of its sailings in Alaska scheduled this year due to engine problems.

Passengers of the Celebrity Millennium currently stranded at a southeast Alaska port will be sent home courtesy of the company.

    How generous. How about reimbursing them for twice the cost they incurred.

    Essentially they are. They are getting a full refund for their cruise as well as a credit for the same amount for a future cruise. This is after they had 6 of their scheduled 7 nights on the ship with all meals and entertainment as usual. They did miss visiting most of their ports. as they were docked in Ketchikan for 4 nights.
