Royal Caribbean cancels Alaska cruises

  • Royal Caribbean (RCL) cancels the rest of its sailings in Alaska scheduled this year due to engine problems.
  • Passengers of the Celebrity Millennium currently stranded at a southeast Alaska port will be sent home courtesy of the company.

    How generous. How about reimbursing them for twice the cost they incurred.

    Essentially they are. They are getting a full refund for their cruise as well as a credit for the same amount for a future cruise. This is after they had 6 of their scheduled 7 nights on the ship with all meals and entertainment as usual. They did miss visiting most of their ports. as they were docked in Ketchikan for 4 nights.
