PocketNow leaks some details about Windows Phone 8, the next version of Microsoft's (MSFT) mobile OS. WP8 will finally add support for multi-core processors and NFC-based payments, and will allow developers to use much of the same code to write apps for WP8 and Windows 8. Microsoft expects 100K Windows Phone apps will be available by launch time, though that's still well behind iOS and Android.
