Dejour Energy says Kokopelli tests yield 6.8M cf/day

  • Dejour Energy (DEJ) says combined natural gas production at the four new Williams Fork wells in its flagship Kokopelli project average 6.8M cf/day.
  • While DEJ maintains a 71.5% interest in the project, its share in the net revenue stream from the initial wells is ~25% before payout and ~40% after 150% of payout based on an updated financial deal with partner WPX Energy (WPX).
  • DEJ +21.4% premarket.

    NAV is approx 0.70 per share based on Company's latest presentation. With KOKO producing at 50% better than expected (with only 1/3 frack fluid removed) and plans to drill a Hz Niobrara well (which if even is half as good as WPX's well), the PPS should increase dramatically within the next 12 months.

    I would be careful here. Management has history of ignoring shareholder value. Possible dilution on the horizon. Would wait for clarity. Unless momo traders decide to run it up, then I would be watching volume carefully.
