Judge rejects BP's latest bid to stop settlement payments

A federal judge denies BP’s (BP +1.7%) latest request for an injunction to halt payments from its multibillion-dollar settlement with victims of the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

The judge's order says an internal probe by the claims administrator's office didn't find credible evidence of fraud involving employees of the settlement program's claims center in Mobile, Ala.

Meanwhile, federal prosecutors charge seven Hooters employees for fraudulent oil spill claims.

Enjoy that yield BP fans because, at best, that's all you're going to get!

The current regime in power and all their global warming imaginists have had it out for BP ever since the oil spill. BP has done more than any other corporation in history to make amends. Things are all fixed-up. But the greedy lawyers and 47 percenters still want to milk the gold cow...even if they must employ now fraudulent claims to get their welfare bennies. Now we learn the judge on this case will not stop payments from the settlement fund which are no longer even logically related to the spill's economic impact...based on an internal study by the payee agent. C'mon...internal study...that sure doesn't sound like an impartial process. C'mon. I hope BP takes this all the way to the Supremes. They have to look out for themselves and their shareholders now that the power structure elite is providing no reality testing, relief, conclusions based on fact. I say...leave BP alone. Libs...go find your welfare payments elsewhere...get back to work...go make a living...time to quit your crying.
