LeapFrog presses tablet safety features

  • LeapFrog (LF -1.3%) says its new kid-friendly tablets have web security features which make them safe for use by young children.
  • The company says it has a competitive advantage over rival offerings from Apple and Amazon because its tablets will allow kids to share short messages and videos without opening up access to the Internet.

    Leapfrog's major advantage is the software. They have tons of kids content which has been specifically created under the guidance of child development scientists.

     

    The freedom of the Android ecosystem has created a lot of success for Samsung, but when you talk about toddlers, things are different. No parent will unleash random content onto their five year old.
