PPL says the court has dismissed a lawsuit seeking to block the construction of the Susquehanna - Roseland line

A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit challenging federal permits for the Susquehanna - Roseland power line currently being developed by PPL Corp. (PPL), saying the permits were issued properly and after thorough study.

PPL calls it "the right decision for millions of people throughout the mid-Atlantic region who will have more reliable electric service because of this project."

The suit was filed by several environmental groups seeking to block construction of the project through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
