Just as things were going well and we had great economic data from all over the world ... Congress and the President screw everything up by promising another war.

The USA has no interest in Syria's civil war.
It is absurd to bomb Assad.
Assad is fighting Al Qaeda, who are outsiders and not Syrians. He is also fighting Syrian rebels.
But, if USA bombs Assad we have become Al Qaeda's air force.
I wish we could elect a bunch of guys who will just do nothing for several years to let us recover from all their meddling in our lives and around the world.
Military adventures are not what Americans want.
