JMP downgrades Vivus after CEO departure

Vivus (VVUS +1.5%) catches a downgrade to Market Perform from Outperform at JMP.

JMP is apparently concerned that the CEO shakeup will impact the strategy for Qsymia.

    funny thing is JPM knows ARNA upgrade is looong overdue..but they don;t have the balls to upgrade it as so much of theor buddies are in deep do doooo...


    Whether or not they upgrade, ARNA will reach new 52 week highs and much beyond if the script growth continues and JPM will have to upgrade and cover..

    I'm amazed that $VVUS is up 3% after a CEO resignation after just over a month on the job, followed by a downgrade.

    Replacement comes from J & J who was at helm when Topamax still under patent...Not a bad replacement
