L Brands issues sales report for August

• L Brands (LTD) reports comparable store sales rose 2% during August.
• Victoria's Secret Stores saw a 3% comp sales gain while Limited Brands rose 2%.
• Over the last six months, the company has added 18 net stores to bring its store count to 2,637 in the U.S.
