NXP's former P-E owners selling another 25M shares

KKR, AlpInvest, Apax Partners, Bain Capital, and Silver Lake are collectively selling another 25M NXP (NXPI) shares, or 9.8% of outstanding shares, through a secondary offering. (PR)

The announcement comes with NXP shares trading close to their 52-week high of $39.46. It also comes two days after the chipmaker priced a $500M debt offering whose proceeds will be partly used to redeem higher-interest debt.
