Chocolate companies face higher costs

Companies selling chocolate products may have to raise prices dramatically to adjust for a spike in cocoa butter prices.

Strong demand from Asia has supplies of cocoa butter looking lean.

    Come on guys, when's the last time you guys looked at the ingredients listed on a candy wrapper.


    If it doesn't say MILK CHOCOLATE then the "chocolate" is totally fake (i.e. made with chocolate, chocolate coated, chocolatey").


    Any price increases will go straight to the bottom line and/or executive bonuses!

    Been there, done that - - Sugar increases (We survived that) - - Cocoa crop results down (We got past that) - - etc


    People like chocolate and they have been putting up with price increases for the past 60 years - - Please tell Chicken Little that the sky is not falling
