Adios NFLX. For future reference, it is always best to be the "provider" of bandwidth, not the "poacher" of bandwidth.

Big difference between Online downloads and subscirption streaming service.

I am leaning towards this JV will be less a direct competitor than an attempt to replicate the Coinstar model in the streaming world.

VZ would want a subscription service but CSTR might want to offer it as an ala carte service.

Not necessarily the NFLX killer I have been waiting for.

Coinstar has been talking about the imminent release of their streaming service for almost 2 years and all we have to show for it is one announcement of a partnership. Call me skeptical. Amazon and Youtube are for more credible threats.
