Though market share trends can be debated, there's no denying the iPhone's huge share of industry profits. Horace Deidu estimates Apple (AAPL) took home 75% of mobile phone profits in Q4 in spite of generating just 8.7% of shipments, thanks to blowout iPhone sales and weak results (I, II, III) from HTC, NOK, and RIMM. Among major rivals, only Samsung's profit share (16%) is holding up well.
