Yum Brands increases its dividend payout rate by 10%

Yum Brands (YUM -1.2%) increases its quarterly dividend payout rate by 10% to $0.37/share to mark the 9th consecutive year it achieved a double-digit percentage increase for its dividend hike.

The company says that for the long term it targets a payout ratio of 35%-40% of net income.

Shares of Yum Brands now trade with a forward yield of 2.04%.
