Sherwin-Williams upgraded to Outperform by Credit Suisse

Credit Suisse upgrades Sherwin-Williams (SHW) to Outperform from Neutral and raises its PT to $215 from $185 (potential upside of 19.4%).

The firm cited earnings acceleration due to its acquisition of the U.S. and Canadian divisions of Comex, solid sales volumes, and strong market fundamentals.

Sherwin-Williams' attempt to acquire the entire Mexican parent, Consorcio Comex, for $2.34B have been stymied by Mexican regulators. CEO Chris Connor said the company "remain[s] resolute" to push a deal through.
