Abraxas Petroleum moves higher after operations update

Abraxas Petroleum (AXAS +1.9%) is higher after providing an update on its operations at Williston Basin, Eagle Ford Shale and Permian Basin.

AXAS says drilling operations on the Lillibridge West pad at Williston Basin in North Dakota are now effectively complete a month ahead of schedule, and completion of the four-well pad is scheduled for late October.

At Eagle Ford Shale in Texas, AXAS is currently rigging up on the Blue Eyes 1H at its Jourdanton prospect; AXAS holds a 100% working interest in Blue Eyes 1H.
