Tech giants bump Coca-Cola from top of most valuable brand list

  • Coca-Cola (KO) was passed by Apple and Google as the world's most valuable brand in a report from Interbrand.
  • The drop to 3rd marks the end of a 13-year run at the top spot on the Best Global Brands list.

  • i wonder how that is measured. more people use microsoft products than apple, and yahoo cut into google business just this past quarter. i'm not saying interbrand is wrong. i can see a younger generation listing apple and google on a list of most thought of brands over ko. especially with ko basically advertising not to drink as much ko because it is bad for you.
    maybe ko should start putting the ko brand somewhere on the label of the many other products they sell. i have always thought they should
