21Vianet secures $100M equity investment from Temasek

21Vianet (VNET +0.9%) shares tick up after Singapore's Temasek invests $100M in the data center services provider. 87% of the investment will take the form of new Class A ordinary shares, with the remainder coming from existing shareholders at a price of $15 per share (a 7.2% discount to Friday's close).

The transaction gives Temasek a 10% equity stake in the company and the right to nominate a director to the board.
