WebMD repurchases $100M in 2016 convertible notes

WebMD (WBMD -0.5%) repurchases $100M principal amount of its 2.25% convertible notes due 2016 (conversion price of $73.69/share) at a 1.75% premium. (8-K)

$300M in principal remains outstanding on the issue, which was closed in 2011 when shares traded at 53.66. WBMD has fallen 46.8% since then.
