Kimberly-Clark higher after growing sales through volume

Kimberly-Clark (KMB +3.1%) trades higher after the company beat estimates and sets its FY13 EPS guidance higher by a nickel.

Investors are taking some heart that the company grew organic sales through a nice volume mix.

The biggest concern from the report might be the 1% dip in prices for the North American personal-care division where diaper promotions picked up.

The money quote from the conference call, and why I invest in the company, was when asked if the government shutdown had any effect on 3rd quarter results. Tom Falk responds with, "Not really I mean mostly people need diapers and bathroom tissue everyday, no matter what’s going on in Washington and that was the case..." Love the company.
