Cohn: Tough Q3, but Goldman not giving up on fixed-income

We'll "re-double or triple our efforts" in fixed-income, Goldman (GS -0.9%) COO Gary Cohn tells Bloomberg, following last week's results which showed a 44% Y/Y decline in bond trading income - a bigger decline than nearly all of its peers (Goldman has peers?).

Realtors in The Hamptons shudder: "When it comes to bonuses this year, it will all depend on how the fourth quarter shakes out ... If we don’t have a good fourth quarter, bonuses will be down."

I wonder how much they made this month in fixed income as the marks reversed a couple of times.
