Stocks look to take back yesterday's rare loss

|By:, SA News Editor

Stock index futures are all ahead about 0.45% with better-than-expected Chinese data overnight a handy excuse for headline writers (Shanghai itself declined 0.9%; go figure). Europe is posting moderate gains.

Treasury yields are steady at multi-month lows, the 10-year at 2.50%.

Again, look to individual names - not the averages - for the real action as earnings reports continue to flood in. Ford, Amazon, and Microsoft are all coming today.
