Sony's FQ2 net losses grow

Sony's (SNE) FQ2 net loss widened to ¥19.3B ($197M) from ¥15.5B a year earlier.

Operating profit -51% to ¥14.8B.

Sales +10.6% to ¥1.78T.

Cuts FY net profit outlook to ¥30B from a prior forecast of ¥50B, due to lower-than-expected sales of TVs, digital cameras and PCs, and under-performance at its movies division. (PR)
