Accenture buys another PLM consulting firm

  • Accenture (ACN) is acquiring PCO Innovation, a consulting/systems integration firm that specializes in implementing product lifecycle management (PLM) software platforms. Terms are undisclosed. (PR)
  • PCO's services complement those of Prion Group, a German PLM consulting provider (focused on Siemens' PLM software) that Accenture bought in August.
  • Accenture has stepped up its M&A efforts over the last year; the consulting/outsourcing giant is betting acquisitions will help it boost flagging growth.
