As Yahoo (YHOO) cleans house and moves closer to selling its Asian assets, its U.S. operations continue to lose ground. According to comScore, Yahoo's U.S. search market share fell to 14.1% in January, down 100 bps from November. Google was mostly responsible; its share rose 80 bps during this time to 66.2%. Globally, NetMarketShare estimates Yahoo controls only 5.82% of the search market.
