Electronic Arts (EA -1.2%) trades lower after losing its CFO to Polycom. The make-or-break for the firm won't be who is crunching the numbers though - it's a question of how well titles Star Wars: The Old Republic and Battlefield 3 resonate with gamers.

SWTOR is pretty popular and pretty engrossing. I've spoken with many gamers who have it or are planning to buy it.

Anecdotally, I've seen many of the same people playing quite regularly to the point that I recognize their pseudonyms. With the amount of content (essentially 8 single player RPGs in 1 MMORPG), this has the potential for staying popular for many years as RPG gamers love replayability. The storylines are better acted and much better written than the recent movies.
