Treasury set to issue floating-rate notes

The Treasury sets a date of January 29 for its first floating-rate note auction. The paper will be of 2-year maturity and the offering size is expected to be $10B-$15B.

Separately, the Treasury says it's considering offering two new 5-year TIPS next year, with a final decision to be made in February.
