Volvo to get serious in the U.S. again

Volvo (VOLVY) tells dealers in the U.S. it will introduce more new models in the U.S. and back them up with a strong marketing campaign.

The launch of the XC90 crossover next year will be the centerpiece of the automaker's grand plan to become relevant again in the region.

YTD: Volvo's sales in the U.S. -7% vs. overall market +8%.
