Deutsche Telekom makes $729M acquisition

• Deutsche Telekom (OTCQX:DTEGY) is set to buy GTS Central Europe (which runs a fixed-line fiber optic network) from Columbia Capital, HarbourVest Partners, Innova Capital and M/C Partners for around $730M.
• GTS' markets include the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, and Romania.
• Revenues for GTS in 2012 (minus Slovakia, where assets are staying with the current owners, according to Reuters) were €347M.
