- Etihad Airways is discussing potential orders for Airbus (EADSF -1.1%) A320neos and/or A350s, Reuters says, citing sources.
- The airline is also reportedly in talks with Boeing (BA -0.3%) for the 777X and 787, although CEO James Hogan says he has "made no comment on that at all" — "[It] is Reuters speculating," he adds.
- In other Airbus news, WSJ says India's Ministry of Civil Aviation as well as domestic airlines and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation are involved in a consultation process that may help clear the way for adoption of the A380 which in the past was considered too much of a threat to domestic carriers for widespread adoption.
