How would opening kiosks in groceries affect area franchisees?

    Berloe-

Excellent point. If I were a franchisee, I'd probably be pretty darn miffed.

I was a franchisee with "I Cant Believe Its Yogurt". I had exclusive areas but somehow Kiosks and Supermarket sales didn't count.
They dumped on their franchisees. Anyone hear of that company now??

DNKN does it and it seems to work for them, in New England anyway.

Given the reaction of the stock the day of and day after the investor meeting, it seems no one was to impressed with the initiatives outlined.
Also disheartening was the comment to "focus on things we can control", implying that their strategy is to hang in there until the macro improves.
