21% of all searches came from mobile devices (exc. tablets) in 2011, and Bernstein sees that figure rising to 30% this year, and 53% in 2016. Google (GOOG), whose 91% share of mobile search outpaces its 83% share of PC search, and which is seeing booming mobile ad sales, stands to benefit. Whereas Yahoo (YHOO), which has only a tiny sliver of the mobile search market, could see its search business decline further.
