The USPS sets up shop inside of more Staples stores

The United States Postal Service continues to open pilot stores inside of Staples (SPLS -1%) outlets as it moves toward a goal of having 82 such stores up and running.

The initiative is part of what the USPS calls its retail partner expansion program.

For Staples, the low-cost program is aimed at increasing store traffic.

I wouldn't say this makes Staples (or the USPS) a BUY, but it is good common sense. I want the Postal Service around and hope that there are enough of lifelines with the private sector to make it happen.
