Main is a company that just seems rock solid. Everyone I know (and like) I recommend they put this in their portfolio as a very long term investment.

Any thoughts on PSEC as compared to MAIN? I have held PSEC for several months and look to some rearranging/additions for the new year. PSEC has been solid. Everything I read says much the same for MAIN.

mmlee11 -- PSEC is not as solid as MAIN, more risky.

The $0.165 dividend doesn't start until 2014, their release says December is $0.16.

Of the BCDs this seems to be one of the better ones. Good enough anyway for me to have purchased some earlier this year.
