Oslo did not like SDRL's earnings report = the stock is down there earlier to-day. JF may enjoy living on the edge + pushing the envelope about cash dividends = a quarter of which goes back to him personally = but what about the rest of us?

In an capex heavy company such as Seadril the dividends depend on the Free Cash Flow per share. Seadrill has just invested heavily and can now enjoy the cash flow the way it wants. For a Bermuda based company with a Cypriot main owner the FCF is just the right number for dividends.
