- Not blown away by the private bids coming in for La Quinta Inns & Suites, Blackstone (BX +2.2%) is leaning towards an IPO of the hotel chain, reports Bloomberg. Also a factor is the blistering IPO market in general, particularly, the 20% gain in Extended Stay America (NYSE:STAY) since coming public two weeks ago.
