Tilly's plunges 17.6% AH on Q3 revenue miss, dour guidance

Shares of Tilly's (TLYS) are taking a drubbing in AH trading, down 17.6%, following a large miss on revenue and single cent beat on EPS in Q3.

Comparable store sales decreased 2.4% Y/Y, while e-commerce revenue bumped 3% to $13.3M.

Management issues dour Q4 guidance due to "weak traffic trends and a highly promotional environment in teen retail." If trends continue, the company expects comparable store sales to fall "mid to high single digits" in Q4 and EPS to come in at $0.15-$0.21 (vs. consensus of $0.35).
