Las Vegas gross gaming win falls 5% Y/Y in Oct.

After climbing 11.1% in Aug. and 7.4% in Sept., gross gaming win in the state of Nevada declined 2.6% Y/Y in Oct. to $954.3M according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Strip casinos in Las Vegas were particularly hard hit, with revenue off 5% Y/Y to $551.3M.

The slowdown has exacerbated the gap between Las Vegas and Macau, which continues to grow at a torrid pace.

The dampening is of particular note to large Vegas operators like Wynn Resorts (WYNN +1%), Las Vegas Sands (LVS +1%), MGM Resorts (MGM +1.9%), and Caesars (CZR +1.1%).
