HSBC China final PMI beats estimates

    I think it would behoove readers to bone up on the total China, not just a few blurbs from our side. Here is a great start.

    I agree Capt. Brian. There was a time when the PMI was an important indicator of China's economic growth, but now that Fixed Asset Investment spending has grown to over 50% of China's GDP and interest rates on the massive amount of debt (much of it short-term) used to finance this spending have been rising to their highest levels in years, the PMI is just a sideshow. I'm watching the interest rates and looking for signs of stress in their financial system and evidence of further increases in NPL's that have been growing rapidly.
