U.K. factory activity continues to march higher

U.K. manufacturing PMI jumped to a new 2 1/2 year high of 58.4 in November from 56.5 in October and easily topped consensus of 56.

Companies are creating around 5,000 jobs a month, the fastest rate since May 2011

Production and new order growth are at, or near, 19-year highs

The expansion remains broad-based, domestic demand continues to surge, and new export orders are rising at a fast clip.

The pound is +0.3% at $1.6413, although the FTSE 100 is -0.3%. (PR)
