The ops fell under the umbrella of the Specialty Brands portfolio, and represent an estimated $90M in revenue in 2013. The company does not expect the divestment to have a material impact on EPS.
The deal "completes the realignment of the Specialty Brands portfolio." Grainger had previously determined that the 3 direct marketing brands fall outside of the company's long-term focus.
