Mondelez International latest U.S. company to float bonds in Europe

  • Mondelez International (MDLZ) plans to sell bonds in Europe to take advantage of low borrowing costs.
  • The company plans to issue 18-month floating-rate notes and fixed-rate bonds with maturity dates in 2017 and 2021, say sources.

    Partial stories drive me crazy. What are they going to do with the money? Hopefully 100% pay off higher rate debt but it doesn't say.
