Senior Salesforce exec leaves for startup

Hilarie Koplow-McAdams, Salesforce's (CRM) president of global sales, is leaving to become the sales chief of performance monitoring software startup New Relic.

Koplow-McAdams was in charge of Salesforce's international sales teams. AllThingsD reported two months ago she was looking to leave the company, rather than work for new sales chief/vice chairman Keith Block.

She has been selling CRM stock. That's has greater signficance than the selling she did when she was continuing as a CRM and would be receiving more CRM stock. Now she won't be receiving more stock when not with the company and she has been selling down her large position. This doesn't show confidence in, nor does her departure, in general. Could it be that she believes she would not receive nearly as much money later for her shares as she has received recently?

Keith Block is the reason she is running away from CRM.
