This is a perfect example of the insanity of investing in this corrupt system! GASS has several ships being built in Japan over the next few years to increase their fleet to handle the rapidly expanding propane and other petroleum products demand here and abroad.

Two of the planned ships are huge SuperMax carriers which are state of the art tankers for long haul, international shipping. If you lived in SE Asia you would hopefully be using propane to heat and cook. With the coal industry being murdered countries have to replace that fuel don't they? It is the paramount goal of our administration to stop all coal production here and eventually everywhere. China's cities are like breathing pea soup and something called jet streams carries that filth around the World!

Instead of supporting vital shipping lines around the world, we short them and bash the hell out of them for a few bucks. They really don't make much considering the huge costs of ships and fuel. The newer tankers will use natural gas and other derivative fuels to cut emissions in half and increase efficiency.
