Dennis Gartman says he’s pulling back on stocks after the big run-up: "The time’s come to be defensive for the next several weeks... We shall strongly urge those who are long to become less so, taking defensive actions where necessary to reduce exposures." But Gartman still likes shipping companies, even as the sector surges, notably DRYS +7.8%, DSX +3.7%, GNK +2.8%.

Curious if this guy is bi-polar or mildly insane, maybe even slightly senile?

"Friday, February 10, 5:37 PM Despite the Dow's impressive 21% run off its October lows, Dennis Gartman says he's still "wild-eyed" bullish on stocks right now. He's throwing caution to the wind, insisting that stocks can and will go much, much higher in what he describes as a “multi-year secular bull market.”

    "wild-eyed" definition by Princeton Dictionary:

appearing extremely agitated; "crowded the wild-eyed animals into a truck"

quixotic: not sensible about practical matters; idealistic and unrealistic; "as quixotic as a restoration of medieval knighthood"; "a romantic disregard for money"; "a wild-eyed dream of a world state"

No as i mentioned he is a publicity seeker. On wall street those who know don't tell and those who tell don't know.It is a shame these guys get so much coverage to the public investor.

That was before the "big" pullback yesterday, so now he "shall" be bearish... meanwhile his ETF is DOWN since it started trading in mid 2009
