Caesars Entertainment turns the tables on Massachusetts regulators

  • Caesars Entertainment (CZR +1.9%) files a lawsuit against the Massachusetts Gaming Commission and Chairman Stephen Crosby.
  • The gambling company alleges Crosby had personal ties to one of the owners on the land where Wynn Resorts planned to build its own casino in the region which gave an advantage to Wynn. Caesars also maintains it was held to a standard higher than Wynn or MGM Resorts.
  • During a conference call in October, Steve Wynn said he was flabbergasted that Caesars withdrew its bid in Massachusetts and complained about the youthful regulators creating all the fuss. (transcript)

    The state of Mass. ought to wake up and smell the roses. This is the best thing that has happened to Boston since the tea PARTY THING during the revolution. Stop all of this B.S. and give Steve his approvals. Lets move on.
